Private Estate Wedding Lighting in Kirkland, WA: The Altig-Speiser Celebration

Designed and planned by the visionary team at Sinclair & Moore, the wedding of Mackenzie Altig and Kade Speiser was a masterclass in luxury outdoor event production. Hosted at a private estate in Kirkland, this celebration transformed a residential property into a world-class venue.

The centerpiece of the event was a massive multi-week tent build by CORT Party Rental, adorned with breathtaking floral installations from Oak & the Owl. LightSmiths was honored to provide the technical production and specialized lighting that illuminated this stunning design, which was also featured on the Over the Moon wedding blog.

Lighting Design Highlights: To complement the garden-luxe aesthetic, LightSmiths designed a custom lighting package that transitioned the estate from a bright afternoon ceremony to a romantic, high-energy evening reception:

  • Moore Series Crystal Chandeliers: 13 of our signature chandeliers served as the "jewelry" of the tent, providing a warm, sophisticated glow.

  • Architectural Up-Lighting: Wireless fixtures placed throughout the estate and tent structure to highlight textures and floral walls.

  • Precision Pin-Spotting: Focused beams to make the sage green tablescapes and gold accents pop.

  • Dance & Wash Lighting: Custom-tuned washes to ensure photography stayed crisp while creating an inviting atmosphere for the dance party.

  • Landscape Illumination: Highlighting the estate’s natural beauty for a seamless indoor-outdoor guest experience.
